Me and Zoe are going to pacodina, CA to pick ollalAberries<br /><br />blackberry + rasperry = logan berry<br />blackberry + dewberry = young berry<br /><br />youngberry + loganberry = OLLALABERRY!<br /><br />ollalaberies grow only in CA and the season lasts from mid june to mid july...they are tart and delicious in pies and jam<br />we always pick at least six uckets so we have enough to make jam for the whole year and pies on special occasions.<br /><br />we drive out, pick for hours, and drive back in time to begin to make that jam....the jam consists of sugar and ollalaberries...that is all....<br /><br />oh, zoe is here...i gotta go get ready to pick!
